- NBA Scoring Gauntlet is an independent, unofficial project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Basketball Association, its teams, or its players. Team names and player names are used descriptively, to refer to real public sports history, the way any sports statistics site does. Team logos are not used; each team is shown as a plain monogram in its own colour instead. See Settings for more on how team and player data is handled.
- Free to use
- The game is free, with no account and no purchase required. Best scores and settings are stored only on your own device, described fully on the Privacy page.
- Data accuracy
- Scoring averages come from a public dataset sourced from Basketball-Reference. It is a snapshot and can contain errors or go slightly stale for active players between updates. If a number looks wrong, basketball-reference.com is the source of truth, not this site.
- Provided as-is
- The site is provided as-is, with no guarantee it will be error-free, always available, or fit for any particular purpose. It may change, be taken offline, or be discontinued at any time without notice.
- Fair use
- Play it, share it, have fun with it. Don't use it to scrape or resell the underlying data, or in any way that disrupts the site for other players.
